Our clients for this project were approaching the end of their working lives and commissioned us to design a smaller retirement dwelling at the rear of their large detached home in the centre of Ringwood, where they had lived for 40 years.

Located in the town’s Conservation Area, we designed a home which referenced the former coach-houses which existed at the rear of these Victorian villas.

Approval was gained on Appeal, and attracted considerate praise from the Planning Inspector for its design merit.
